Trying equipment for putting on socks or tights
You may benefit from being shown how to use a sock or tight aid. First Contact provide free and impartial advice about a wide range of assistive equipment, including dressing aids. As Angus Council do not fund items under £50, you may need to purchase the items yourself, but you may be able to trial the equipment before buying to make sure it suits your needs.

Dundee & Angus Independent Living Centre is a place where you can try a range of equipment items free of charge. The centre is open 9-5pm weekdays and you can visit during these time or phone to make an appointment to ensure someone is free to show you around.
